What is dry ice ?

Dry ice is the solid type of CO2 at a temperature of -78° C. At atmospheric pressure, dry ice sublimates directly from solid to gas without containing any water so it is called “dry ice” which is an ideal cooling agent for transporting temperature-sensitive items such as meat, medicine, ice cream etc.
